Outline of role

The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting bills & handling their own caseload in a busy by friendly department.  The caseload is within commercial costs.

Experience

Cost Draftsmen with between 3-5  years experience are required by a busy city centre Costs Consultancy.  Having recently taken on several new clients this forward thinking firm are looking to expand their team over the next few months.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

-Between 3-5 years costs experience

-Understanding of CPR and Case Law

-Computer Literate

-Ideally a Member of the ACL

Day to day duties

-Handling own active Caseload reporting to the Costs Manager

-Preparation Multi Track bills of Costs

-Preparation of Bills for detailed Assessment

-Preparation of Costs Schedules for summary assessment

-Preparation of Costs Estimates

-Preparation of Points of Dispute and Replies

-Negotiating settlement of Costs
