An International Law firm with over 30 offices globally in the US, Europe, Middle East and Asia.  Multi-disciplined Law firm with specialist areas, including shipping, banking, employment, property, patents and general commercial litigation and are involved in court litigation and arbitrations.

 Responsibilities

• Preparing costs schedules,
• statements of costs and detailed bills of costs and reviewing and commenting on such documents as submitted by other parties.
• Preparing and advising on costs budgets and client estimates.
• Preparation and advising on schedules in support of applications for security for costs and requests for payments on account.
• Working with litigators to advise clients on strategy relating to costs recovery and in relation to the wider issues that arise from related questions of procedure.

Key Skills, Attributes And Experience

• Qualified costs lawyer with at least 5 years’ practical experience (pre or post qualification) working with London City firms or equivalent large commercial practices
• Ideally, with experience of dealing with shipping disputes and arbitration proceedings.
• Good numeracy, excel, writing and communication skills.
